Immediately following graduation, Ken worked at Ben Holland Management Company in Sacramento for one year. From 1985 to 1990, Ken was Vice President of Casco Property Management, where he managed more than 25 properties ranging from the residential, retail, R&D, and office buildings. Ken left Casco in 1990 to join Gibson Speno. Ken was Vice President of Gibson Speno for more than three years, and was in charge of all residential management, commercial management, and tenant improvement construction from 1990 until 1994.   

Ken has sat on several committees of the Tri-County Apartment Association and the California Apartment Association. Ken was President of the Tri-County Apartment Association in 1998.

 He now lives in Los Altos with his wife and five children.
